Larimar. Its very name reminds us of a carefree holiday by the sea, and its appearance certainly makes us mentally travel there. 

Larimar is a rare form of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.

Larimar was first discovered in 1916, but a mining permit was not obtained at that time. This wonderful mineral was later rediscovered in 1974.
