Rutilated Quartz is a special type of Quartz that contains needle-like particles of rutile. Rutile is a mineral mostly composed of titanium dioxide. It can be expressed in red, brown, yellow, blue, and our specimens are mostly in gold.

Rutile inclusions often lower the value of Quartz, but are highly prized by collectors precisely because of their beauty.
