1. Do some self-reflection

Your journey should begin with a few moments that you take for yourself. First of all, take a piece of paper and write down the answers to the following questions: How do I feel right now? What am I missing? What are my biggest challenges? Where do I need help?

Let your answers to these questions be a beacon that will guide you along the path of choosing the right crystal.

2. Take a walk around the store

Keep the sheet you listed in the previous step in front of you the entire time you are choosing the crystal. Pick a store that you know offers a wide selection of high-quality crystals and walk around.

It is also a good idea to buy your crystal from a store with good energy, as your future crystal will spend some time in that environment.

When you receive your crystal at home, it is energetically cleansed and prepared for use. For energy cleansing of crystals, we recommend white sage — you slowly light a roll of white sage over a candle, and then "wrap" your crystal in the smoke that the roll emits.

6. Charging in the moonlight
